The owners were helpful in organizing activities for me and even recommended the best day tour agency. The location is amazing, with hammocks for stargazing at night and a delicious breakfast to start the day. The lodge is the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure. Definitely one of the highlights of my South America trip!

My stay at the riverside lodge was even better than I expected. The peaceful atmosphere, separate breakfast shack, and cozy sitting nooks throughout the property were a delightful surprise. I especially enjoyed the lovely little beach where I could take a dip in the river. The owners were always available to offer helpful advice and ensure I had a great time exploring Misahualli. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

The location of this lodge was absolutely perfect. It was situated right alongside a beautiful river, with stunning views of the surrounding rainforest. the peaceful and quiet atmosphere was exactly what I needed to unwind after a long day of business meetings. the lodge was just a short walk away from the village, where I found a variety of restaurants, tour guides, and transportation services.

Although the lodge had chairs available near the rooms with river views, it would have been nice to have some chairs or tables right by the water. This would have allowed guests to truly appreciate the beauty of the river and enjoy some relaxation time in a serene setting.

We got great value for our money, with a spacious and comfortable room. The location was perfect, right by the river, and the staff treated us with such kindness and thoughtfulness.

The morning meal could be improved by providing a wider variety of options. The addition of some hot dishes would make it even better.

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of the river. The property had beautiful terraces by the river, perfect for relaxing and taking in the jungle views. Another great feature was the guest kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own meals. We loved the cozy and relaxing public area, where we could unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The hot water in the shower was not consistent, as it was generated by a point of use system. This meant that we had to adjust the valve to get a comfortable temperature.

I recently stayed at the beautiful Banana Lodge for a few days and had a fantastic time. The hotel is situated right by the River Misahualli, making it the perfect spot for swimming and paddling in the river. The owners, a friendly couple, were very welcoming and organized various activities and tours for guests. We even had the opportunity to attend a chocolate-making class run by the wife, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel is amazing, surrounded by stunning landscaping, flowers, and plenty of outdoor seating areas. Each room has a private patio with comfortable chairs, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the scenic views. The rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams, fresh fruit juice, and a variety of options to choose from. The short walk to the town center provided us with numerous dining options. Banana Lodge exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

    Strongly recommend this hotel.

This lodge provided a relaxing and comfortable stay during my business trip to the jungle. The location was ideal, with easy access to the nearby town and a peaceful atmosphere right by the river. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the wifi worked well throughout my stay. I also appreciated the beautiful gardens and the opportunity to enjoy a hot bath in the river.

While staying in the jungle, it's important to be prepared for insects. I encountered some ants in the room, which was a bit troublesome, as they were crawling on the table, sink, and inside the open closet.

We had a wonderful stay at Banana Lodge, a beautiful property overlooking the river. The spacious and clean rooms with a small kitchen area were perfect for our needs. The breakfast was tasty and varied, and we loved lounging in the hammocks in the evenings. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby forest and visiting the small supermarket and restaurant. This hotel is conveniently located close to Quito, Mindo, Orchidea Forest Park, and waterfalls.

    I do recommend this hotel.
